Project: No Lawn Required
A surprisingly large garden behind a bungalow in Wyton, presented a challenge, when the owners declared their intention to remove the lawn completely. Therefore, care was needed to create interest and softness with a variety of textures and large areas of planting. Several seating areas have been built in, but the garden also needed to provide a dramatic view from the house, so a large stone water feature makes a fine focal point. The many paths invite the visitor on a journey through rich planting that will develop over time.
