Gardener’s Garden
These clients in Ramsey were moving into a newly built bungalow, from a home where they enjoyed gardening and they were keen to have lots of planting areas. The garden was a tricky shape with several distinct areas, as the development’s parking area intruded onto the space. There were also slopes to deal with, and the existing lawn and paving combination was dull and uninspiring. The lawn was completely removed in three areas, which left room for generous planting around the new patios, and a series of raised beds for veg. Further raised beds accommodate a pergola walk way, which in time, will house climbing plants to detract from the parking area. The clients carried out their own planting and are delighted with the result.
